Embrace the Value of Point of Care MRI Inside Your NICU

Neonatal neuroimaging designed to make a real difference

The patient-focused Embrace® Neonatal MRI System provides quality diagnostic imaging when and where its needed, while keeping premature and critically-ill infants safe and comfortable in their care environment. This revolutionary, point of need imaging system

  • enables greater access to critical insights so you can make the best care decisions for even your most vulnerable NICU patients;
  • mitigates the risks, challenges and time often associated with off-unit patient transport to Radiology for scanning;
  • promotes a more simplified and efficient workflow that is less stressful for patients, parents and the care team.
See us in the Palm Room at the Newborn Brain Conference and discover how you can Embrace® the value of point of care MRI inside your NICU.

PUBLISHED STUDY

Detection of Global Brain Injury Using Point-of-Care Neonatal MRI Scanner

Alona Bin-Nun, Yair Kasirer, Nadeen Abu-Ata, Debra Rosenbaum, Ruth Cytter-Kuint, Cathy Hammerman, and Eliel Ben-David

Published January 19, 2023 | Neuropediatrics

Clinical research continues to illustrate the diagnostic value of images obtained on the 1T Embrace Neonatal MR System.  This study, published in Neuropediatrics, was designed to evaluate and compare scoring of images obtained on the Embrace, without leaving the NICU, and a conventional MR scanner.  The results clearly illustrate substantial interrater agreement.  Blank-Altman analysis showed excellent agreement between the two scanners, validating the clinical value of in-NICU scanning with the Embrace.

The Clinical Experience with an in-NICU Magnetic Resonance Imaging System

Kirsten R. Thiim, Elizabeth Singh, Srinivasan Mukundan, P. Ellen Grant, Edward Yang, Mohamed El-Dib & Terrie E. Inder

Published April 2, 2022 | Journal of Perinatology

Research from Mass General Brigham Hospital in Boston, MA, recently published in the Journal of Perinatology, illustrates the value of having the Embrace Neonatal MRI in the NICU to provide information without the stress and risk of moving babies out of the NICU.

WEBINARS ON DEMAND

Neonatal Brain Injury: Neurological Examination and Diagnosis

Diane Wilson, NNP
Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada

With over 30 years of experience in Neonatology and a focus on Neonatal Neurology,  Diane has been instrumental in the development of the Neonatal Neurocritical Care Unit (NNCU) at SickKids. In this webinar, Diane reviews the anatomy and physiology of neonatal brain development and the components of a comprehensive neonatal neurological examination, with an overview of the common causes of brain injury in preterm and term infants, including a case presentation with neurological exam findings.
